They spend more time attending to party political matters and canvising votes for their fellow party members. I have a huge ethical concern that politicians are using RATEPAYERS funds to do THEIR JOBS, and then want the residents to be appreciative when services are delivered. Aren't we then contributing towards their salaries, or do they think they are doing us a favour when they do little bits of their paid jobs? The other ethical concern is when polictal parties runs a big PR campaign when they are doing initiatives in the community that aligns with their job functions, paid for by ratepayers NOT the political party, yet the party runs media releases to advertise what they have done for the community as a political party. |

However, service delivery failures are not of her direct making, rather from the lack of action or "no budget" by our local Municipality. At IDP t ime she would include the top 5 priorities, submit to Council for Muni approval and actioning but always remind us that "its the laps of the gods" that anything will come of her submission. The issues my town within the graeter Knysna Muni, is insufficient muni staff, lack of consequence management for service failure and budgeted funds being "transferred" to projects not in the latest IDP. |

He is both arrogant and dismissive in public meetings, deliberately avoiding the questions/comments of individuals he knows are unhappy about the way important matters are not being handled. |
