Regulations should be logical and fair toward all parties. Allowing crowds of people in shopping centres with little air flow vs. not allowing people on beaches (on the sand) where there is loads of fresh air and hardly any risk of spreading the Covid virus is illogical.
Ministers and government having parties during lockdown without serious consequences (like getting fired) vs. other citizens who overstepped the boundaries, sometimes very trivial, now sitting with criminal records is just not logical not just.
Municipalities and traffic departments (specifically in Nelson Mandela Metro) more often than not are closed for business due to alleged Covid outbreaks and when they are open for business they effectively close for business early to mid morning yet every citizen is expected to have e.g. valid drivers licenses (even those whose licenses expired just before lockdown started)

The government is infringing on a long list of rights enshrined in the Bill of Rights, all for a possible risk that I as a reasonable adult will assess based on the facts (not determined by main stream media) without being dictated to. I do not need the government to check my tyres and window wipers before I get into my car.... to look left, right and left again before crossing the road... I do not need them to check the water temperature before I get into the bath.... I do not need them to remind me to not look directly into the sun. None of the regulations make sense and people are merely going along due to blind obedience and/or fear....Common sense has been abandoned.

South Africans are going to die from starvation and deprivation rather than the Covid-19 virus. Preventing people from working in certain industries will have and is already having a devastating effect that will have lasting effects for years to come, long after the virus has died out or been eliminated through a vaccine.

I believe that the current travel ristriction are unfair as there are people working in other provinces who have kids or who's family is in a different province all together and switch the current ristriction they have been away from his or her kids, wife/husband for 2 month and I find that to be unfair and emotionally damaging, it has no became like we as citizens are been punished for the governments failures and short falls to provide adequate health services and now the tax paying citizens are been punished for your mismanagement of funds

I would suggest arresting drunk drivers and the people beating up others . why pick on legal drinkers who do nothing wrong . These regulations harm the economy and destroy jobs while does nothing to stop criminals

The current regulatoins are too strict, are NOT in line with international COVID-19 responses, and have been mired by corruption and kneejerk reactions from the ruling party, this makes them seem more like a communist power grab ( which is not in line with the constitution )
They shoudl be relaxed, and those implicated in corruption or ineptitude in executing their COVID-9 responses shoudl be removed from office

It doesn’t make sense to not open Gaming Arcades, but to allow for restaurants, cinemas and theatre’s to open. Please let us open our arcades and bowling alleys.

Lift the tobacco ban. It is ridiculous and is costing the economy millions every day. Smokers are not adding to the burden on medical services and several studies have proved that smokers are not more at risk of contracting covid or dying from it. Government should stop stuffing its own pockets from the illicit tobacco trade and start acting responsibly towards its citizens and the economy it is supposed to protect. Government alleges it is a responsible government. Now is the time to show it.

They are trying to preserve lives somewhere the lines have to be drawn. It is not easy. But this too shall pass. I feel they are doing very well.
