THE BANNING 0F TOBACCO AND ALCHOHOL IS INEFFECTIVE AND USELESS AND BENEFITS ONLY THOSE BLACK MARKETEERS AND MAKES GOVERNMENT AND THE POLICE LOOK RIDICULOUS.

This extreme and extended lockdown has by this stage destroyed the South African economy. Millions of people have lost companies and jobs as a result of unwarranted policies. This country will never recover.

As a farmer I have lost business due to the closure of restaurants and the lack of holiday makers both local and international. We are a small organic vegetable grower who have been trying to grow our market share and were on the road to great success until this disease hit us and turned our effort to that of a donating what we had to those in need. Now we need some relief and are not asking for hand outs but that the market place open up in full so we can get back to a normal chain of events. I am also a smoker and feel very strongly about this too. Every banned sector is a sector that gives huge amounts of jobs and supplies the Government with an untold amount of tax revenues. It does not help to become a hand out society and the reality is that the Government in their wisdom is creating a larger baseline for poverty.

More lives are affected by restrictions on businesses and tourism and sales than by the virus risk itself. More people hungry than ever before. Desperation for food is evident since March 2020. Serious introspection by government needed and intervention to return to normal business activities.

Family
Since lockdown I haven't seen my family & its getting to me, mentally and physically. It's unfair that malls and parks are open but i cannot go visit my close family? Does this mean we can hookup at a park & meet there rather than home? Pathetic!

STOP the extravagant salaries of the Government officials - this would free up billions of rands every year which would then be used to improve the quality of life for all citizens. I could live the rest of my life in wealth if I was a Government official for a year and only used what I needed and saved the rest.
Give back to the people the right to earn a living, closing down the country has crippled the citizens of SA who not only made money for themselves but at the same time supported all the families of their workers by giving them jobs therefore enabling them to buy food and support their families.
We're going to get the virus no matter what restrictions are put into place, I'm tired of this, PLEASE let me get the virus, get better and then get on with my life, I'm tired of being "hog tied" by a few officials who think they will control the rest of our lives.
Millions of people are below the bread line now with the lock-down laws etc where before they were all earning a living, paying their debts and not relying on the pathetic so called handouts from the Government.

I haven't seen my spouse in 10 months as he is based in America with Dual citizenship for South Africa , I have asked DIRCO to assist me on a case by case basis for my husband to come and see my in South Africa as we have all relevant documents. I am in my immigration process to America and am not allowed to enter until my process has been completed.

Before the lockdown he was supposed to come visit me however that didn't happen.

Just as other international travel for Business as well as study etc, Spousal and immediate family travel internationally should be considered on a case by case basis.

I have been told this sort of travel is recreational but for me this is not, I find it very unfair that farmers travel to America for work and spousal travel is not considered.

Too restrictive. We have not been able open fully or go back to work as our clients are still not aloud to do business.

The Lock Down regulations restrict Travel and Movement, Economic and Financial Freedom, Security, Freedom of Choice and Freedom of Speech. This is a complete overreach by the Government, who have shown that their interest is less to do with the health of its Citizens are more to do with their own personal agendas and political aims. At no stage did we give permission for the ongoing abuse of our Rights or Freedoms, to be potentially “certified” or vaccinated against a disease that, evidence has shown us, is rapidly disappearing. Furthermore, the lying of Corona Related deaths is being used to instill fear in the masses which is totally unethical...once again emerging evidence has shown that not a single country’s projection models have been anywhere near accurate when it comes to projected number of deaths. We agreed to a three week window for the Health Care System to prepare itself, another overreach as if the Government didn’t have the ability to do it in 36 years how did they expect to do it in 3 weeks....Viral testing has shown to be neither accurate nor consistent, persistent rumors of faulty tests and contaminated tests inspire neither trust nor transparency in a Government that has outright lied and doubled down since day one of this alleged Pandemic
