You know where the biggest fake document syndicates are supposedly one is at Bela Bela, shut them down, take a list of citizenships issued in the last 10 years and revoke all permits and citizenships which were granted to non South Africans. If you are a foreign national you must pay income tax on every cent you earn, you must pay full rate for doctors, schools, hospitals, housing etc. I understand the frustration of locals when I see almost half of the workers going to work are not born and bred South Africans. Send them back to their countries at their Embassy's expense. Give South Africans a chance to look after our own people first without the burden of caring for more people. If you do not have critical skills help your homeland to rebuild not be a burden to us. |
2023-11-29 09:25:01 +02:00 | Caleb | Yes I do | Withdrawal from UN agreements on refugee protection | Unfortunately we do not have the infrastructure to support this current level of refugee intake. We need to sort out our own economy first and work through the current backlog. Overhauling these laws will help regulate immigration and reduce the amount of red tape wrapped around our current system, and gives some room for turning away immigrants that were 'taking a chance' instead of being a valid asylum seeker. |
2023-11-29 07:44:43 +02:00 | Tshwarelo | Yes I do | illegal immigrants | I feel that illegal immigrants are protected more than the citizens of South Africa. They are not included in the annual budget of the country, yet they use the resources and facilities that are meant for the citizens. They are everywhere and pose risk to the safety of South Africans as there is no tracing their criminal activities because they are not documented. I also feel that the companies/individuals who hire illegal immigrants should be punished severely as they are promoting criminality in the country. They are also excluding the locals from economic participation by hiring and exploiting illegal immigrants. Immigrants should only be employed in positions that are of rare skills. Not entry level jobs that are supposed to be for the locals and informal trading. |

2023-11-21 13:47:26 +02:00 | Gugulami | Not fully | illegal immigrants | Our borders are without laws. Are systems are without laws. We offer everyone everything for free as though there is enough for the citizens themselves. People get away with anything here in this country, yet when we go to their countries we cannot even begin to wish to get aid let alone be considered for humanity. |
2023-11-20 20:49:03 +02:00 | Benny | Yes I do | illegal immigrants | South Africa has become a lawless country that attracts criminals from all over the world. Gruesome crime has reached frightening levels never seen before. South Africa must deport all illegal foreigners back to their countries & strength border controls with heavily armed soldiers. Anyone trying to jump our borders should be regarded as attacking our country & it's sovereignty & must be shot & killed by these soldiers. All the Home Affairs officials that issued fake documents to foreigners must be thrown into jail for life & those documents must be revoked. Anyone who came into this country without a passport must be sent back to their countries, including those who later got documents while they were in the country, & revoke those documents. All foreigners that are employed in non-critical skills e.g. teachers, lecturers, engineers & doctors must be sacked & replaced by the South Africans with similar skills. |
