African Centre for Biodiversity’s Executive Director Mariam Mayet provided a breakdown through an interview with radio 702 FM regarding the GMO application by Dow AgroSciences LLC and DuPont (Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc.) for a stacked trait, TC 1507 X NK603 which contains the insect resistant trait, and also a trait to confer resistance to glufosinate ammonium and glyphosate.
