Annette | No I do not | National Lottery is allready a "Dark Horse" with few people that know what is happening there. In view of the large scale of CORRUPTION in our country, placing everything under one "roof" is madness. The Lottery should be investigated and soon as we are seldome privy to their payouts. |
Thelma | Yes I do | Changes are good. |
Craig Douglas | No I do not | Horse Racing is a major tax contributor and employs thousands of people both directly and in directly So tapering with the goose that lays the eggs can only lead it to becoming barren |

Siphiwo john | Yes I do | We need to live equally in our country |
Delwyn | Yes I do | Any gambling that involves animals, particularly, is potentially harmful to the animals. They have no voice. It is up to us to give them absolute protection. In fact any gambling activity involving animals that does not require equal human participation and skill should be outlawed completely. Only when humans are also at risk of injury will there be some measure of care taken. As for financial gambling, people need to be protected against themselves. In many, many cases, the addictive gambler is a cause for terrible distress and hardship to the family over which they have no control. Ultimately is is probably the innocent children who suffer most at the hands of irresponsible actions of adults. |
Mooketsi | No I do not | There's nothing wrong with rhe way it's been operating and needs not be changed. |
Lebogo.Malebatja | Not fully | Gambling has.never been good to other citizens people r speding their.last cents hoping to get more left their family suffering. |
Sir Duke Duane | No I do not | No betting ever again for the abuse of animals for the sport of human gratification. It's evil and animals must be treated with a high level of respect, we humans are their benefactors and they can not speak for themselves like we do. Other betting and lotteries is a ploy to make the target market waste their money and not be able to support themselves sufficiently, the target markets are the poor, and middle class and is not ever sufficiently organised to payback all the winnings st any given time. It's bogus! Do your math and research behind the true workings of the lotteries structure and it will be noted that it is a game by and of big corporations to monopolize. |
WALTER | No I do not | cause depression to citizens |
Rose | No I do not | This is just another means of trying to get their hands on yet another source of income so that the corrupt can get fatter and richer. I do not agree with any animal racing but if you are disciplined to gamble why should the government TRY to regulate it. They cannot get anything right so why ever try. Greed will definitely be their downfall |
Davesh | Not fully | I do agree that dog racing should be outlawed, but should we just stop there? Why not outlaw horse racing as well? All animal races should be outlawed. Who knows what kind of trauma those poor animals must be enduring during their training? Proceeds from the Gambling sector should be added to the coffers to enhance the country!!! |
Maria | No I do not | Gambling is unBiblical and leads to poverty. People bet their income away, causing families to struggle to make ends meet. Even winning does not have a positive outcome, because winnings are lost very quickly and only encourage the gambler to continue investing money in this futile endeavor to make money without working for it.. It is a destructive habit that should be curbed by law in the interest of the economy and for the sake of improving standard of living. |
Lanae | Not fully | Gambling should be outlawed since it ruins so many lives but if allowed it should be strictly regulated (including age), highly taxed, and full disclosure given |
David | Not fully | I support the outlawing of dog racing... not a fan of makes these poor animals race in such circumstances! However, I do not support the creation of National lottery commission! The national lottery is failing, and creating a new commission or entity under a different name is not going to help anything!! Fix what we have rather!!! Make what we have work!!! Unlawful winnings should rather be diverted to charitable/ community upliftment projects, not back to the lottery fund/commission. I support the restriction of advertising for gambling. There should be more restrictions on alcohol advertising too. |
Glynis | Yes I do | For all the reasons that have already been give, I support the new amendment Bill. |
Veronica | No I do not | Most people are not disiplined or responseble to be allowed to gamble. |
Mirriam | Yes I do | The bill must be changed because we want the land without compensation |
Nelson | Yes I do | I support it as long as it is taxed, if it is taxed it will help our economy and benefit the poor. If it is well regulated and the age limit is strictly observed. |
Vukile | Yes I do | gambling is nuturing of greed exploiting the vast destitute majority , its just evil and its the devils fishing hook. Its horribly +++++ |
