It will never be fair as long as people don’t trust the process. There will always be people trying to force results

Because seeing all the ballot boxes popping up all over and laying around I did not think it was properly handled , why did the government did not have an electronic system in all polling stations that automatically count the votes while the people are voting.

So many ballots were tempered with, people were caught double voting, people were caught changing votes on the ballots... is that a free for all vote? A hand full of votes in Pretoria were found useless and void... hows that fair??

From my voting station, the scans were a problem, and the counted votes did not match the voter's roll at the end of the day. Also, there was a box locked in another classroom with a party agent from DA. It had more than 60 EFF votes. Obviously matter was dealt with, but I can imagine what might have happened at other voting stations that might have gone unnoticed. These elections were quite dodgy. Hence the dodgy results.

Speaking only from my voting experience I do believe that the elections was free and fair although there is always room for improvement if more forward thinking processes are implemented.......

I do not think that it was fair as so many corruption were reported. Therefore I think it was not fair.

Heard of a lot of double voting and fraud committed ESPECIALY by the leading party. Everyone I have spoken to, of ALL ethnic back ground so cannot believe that the current party is still in power and a lot of questions stay unanswered. No one can believe after all the mismanagement and fraud that the ANC can still be in power!!! HOW????

80% of the SA public are dumb sheep, and vote because they are stupid and don't think further than 5 minutes..

It should be up to the courts to judge whether the elections were fair and free. All I can say is that when our daughter went to vote her name had already been used by persons unknown and cancelled out. So she produced her ID book to prove who she was.
How many other cases like this were there?

As much as there were hiccups here and there with those morons who voted more than once all went well!

Received word from reliable sources that voting stations in some opposition party areas ran out of ballot papers, causing people who don't have time to wait for more ballot papers, to leave without voting! It's sabotage.

After the announcement of the outcome of the election, there were postings on public media, showing many hundreds of boxes with votes, still unopened, still sealed, and some even found in a field, unopened!! Now HOW CAN THIS BE FAIR???? IT WAS EXTREMELY POOR MONITORING!!! If we want democracy, start with honesty!!!!!
Get rid of bribery, dishonesty, corruption, murders, and try a more trustworthy voting system! Still a long way to go before I will be satisfied. We are living in 2019! Become a 1st World Country again, look after our own people first, stop these thugs from entering our land, and then claim the land for born South Africans again. Give it a go!!

Although reports of irregularities were submitted to the IEC. Not enough was done to give the citiizens of SA the confidence in the IEC. We have to go digital as a country to avoid election fraud and irregularities. But we as citizines are ignored!

The thumb mark could be bleached off, and people voting twice is unfair. Not having enough ballot papers is unfair. Where people bought off, I don't know.
I just can't see how the ANC would still get so many votes after all the complaints and lack of change....

On the news were cases reported of tempering with boxes. Videos were shared and published. Why do we only arrest people who voted double.
Obviously a good amount of money were handed over or promises made to get the persons who worked within the system to allow them to vote. Why do we not arrest those that allowed them to vote? We never hear another word of people being punished who did the wrong thing at the voting stations and I mean the workers. These people must also go to jail for committing fraud.
The honest voters of SA and there are millions, trust the workers at the voting station. The workers must be punished if they allow unlawful acts.

The fact that people voted more than once makes this election a bit unfair. Free but not fair
