The economic impact has been neglected and the metrix of millions left jobless, penniless and desperate. The inability to control cadre and the despicable looting and stealing from those that need it most just seems to be the signature of government past and present.
some unnecessary
Smoking ban seems illogical vs the lives it is suppose to save vs the billions lost to revenue and taxes. A partial alcohol ban also seemed a more logical compromise between keeping livelihoods and businesses in tact and the fear of health systems having to cope with drunkards.

The lockdown made sense at level 5 but became disastrous from level 4. Unco-ordinated, nonsensical and irrational. The ban on alcohol and the closure and re-opening of schools being the major issues. Ministers contradicting each other has also contributed to the chaos and disastrous management of this issue.

Covid 19 is not a pandemic rather it is a plandemic that is being
Used to control the public in the following ways:-
The masks are being used to condition us to accept the coming vaccine as it is you can buy
nothing as you cannot enter any shop without the mask. In like manner you will not be able to
buy without being able to prove you have the vaccine.
There is a cure for this disease in hydroxychloroquine + zinc which many doctors have used
with success. Why then do we need a vaccine?
The lockdown is destroying our economy and we have gone so far it is doubtful we will be able
to recover.
The ANC has taken so much money and yet just like all the money it has been abused by them.
Need I go further?

Goverment is playing games, the president doesn’t have the backbone to make decisions and relies on a panel of imbeciles that doesn’t consider scientific evidence and doesn’t consider the lives that its decisions will cost due to lack of income. Secondly the government is corrupt and wasting money that could’ve helped millions.

Refer to above comment. The regulations are unfounded and doesn’t make sense at all

It's became my problem that certain people can't behave civil when they consume alcohol. It became my problem to support the black market for extremely overpriced cigarettes. I'm self-employed and run a small business. I've tried community upliftment projects with no help from local government and we successfully pulled it off. I asked for funding to assist in training but no answer. I've employed a very eager young man to give him a hope and a future. I had to let him go.

R350 a month assistance will definitely not help me... It's 1 bag of groceries. I'm fed up of the government not caring about our people...

I think the money used by government is not properly used . The tender process should be made public on a website with all suppliers documents and quotations, tax certificates, bbbee etc. Minutes of the meeting of awarding the tender should be online, approvals should be online to ensure all responsible partiers are held accountable. This database should be linked to government workers personal details and if they are related to anyone who awarded a successful tender. Stricter measures can be taken . Why should tenders be hiden from the public when this is the public's money being spent. Then to notice on the news after events of how government wasted the public's money is ridiculous. The PPE bought can be properly accounted for
should be more strict

It is driven by total lack of understanding, bad information, absence of transparency, and indifference to the plight of the people of SA.
completely unnecessary
Makes no sense, unless it is the governments deliberate aim yo chronically impoverish its people, and to create yet more means for enriching corrupt officials.

Schools are re-opened, yet parliament is closed. Priority should be given to (i) safety first, (ii) secondly the state of the economy of South Africa. How does re-opening schools achieve either of these?
Also, government is more concerned with forcing 5g onto private property. Why not focus resources on ensuring every poor community has proper sanitation and access to clean water which is a basic right and crucial during this pandemic. Why not focus government resources on helping the poor communities instead of doing the heavy lifting of private co's & on infringing on private property rights.
should be more strict
Why are taxis allowed to operate at full capacity when everyone else is told to social distance and avoid family visits. We need stricter enforcement of social distancing rules with no exceptions or separate rules for taxis either. Same regulations for everyone.
