The fact that the Minister states that 3 months must be allowed for an answer indicates a lack of resources is available to handle this administrative task. In all probability more money will be spent on additional personnel and resources at the Department to handle the administrative task and the appeals that will most definitely be submitted. How is the interest of the children served if nobody is available for 3 months (+ a few years for the appeals process) to provide the extra curricular activities. |

If this is the best government can do the problems should rather be addressed in a more focused manner on a case by reported case basis. | |
