Gehalte van dienslewering laat veel te wense oor!! Kwaliteit van water is 'n skande. Gereelde kragonderbrekings a.g.v. hopelose instandhouding. Ongekwalifiseerde vakmanskap.

The exceptional very high rates and taxes the residents are paying to the municipality do not reflect the terrible poor state of the complete city and surroundings. Roads are a nightmare. The CBD is in shambles and a shame to any decent human being living in this air polluted city. Apart from being the second worst Eskom debt city, the water is undrinkable and days without any water. Can anyone with some common sense continue to live in this backward city called eMahlaleni

The HR at municipal is employing Un-qualified people to do the work . It took 3 weeks for municipal to install a water meter when they finally came the municipal workers did not know how to install the meter. They said we don’t know how. The street lights are all broken there is not 1 line mens employed to do repairs.
Nothing
I would give out pamphlets with this information on it. 1 to stop following each other. It doesn’t look sane (normal) think for yourself 2 No one likes an arrogant person 3 if you don’t like your job quite 4 All roads needs to be resurfaced 5 we need teachers who specialize in inclusive education to teach children with special needs. 6 learn the rules of the road rule 101 stop at a four way stop and at a red robot 7 we want to sit in a clean park and feel safe, and the beggers won’t bother us.

Roads get fixed, trees are pruned, parks and beaches are well kept and cleaned.
We have a beautiful country - lovely nature and friendly people.
Choose the correct , knowledgeable people to serve in the government.

It is beyond filthy, litter everywhere, sewage running in the streets, potholes and worst of all "repaired potholes" which actually cause more harm. Tenders given to incompetents to repair the potholes means they dig them up, then simply cover with a dump truck of gravel - damaging tyres, windscreens until the rains come and the hole once again opens...Streetlights and cables are stolen in broad daylight - there is zero policing and crime control. One goes to report a robbery and the police look at you as if you are mad - the first question is "do you have insurance?" When you say "No" they then say " but why are you here? We just give ref numbers for insurance purposes" and this they say without even the saving grace of being ashamed at their useless services.
Nothing at the moment - it has been run into the ground. One can't go for walks or runs anymore for the stench of sewage and rubbish. It is also not safe to even think of getting any exercise here. It is where I raised my family and planted trees which are now mature. Do you know what it feels like to realise you have to sell at any cost and just leave? The only hope is to go to the Cape.
Let's start a rates boycott. Get a class action going against the thieves that have destroyed out city. Pay our rates into a trust that can be used to supply the services we are not and have never received.

Ward I current stay in does not receive the same/best services as the other areas.
I live in a relative better part of Khayelitsha, middle class therefore my liking of the community is contributed by my earn of income and what I can access. Otherwise the majority of people are not receiving adequate service delivery. I enjoy the people.
There should be a similar process to consultant communities on their own development besides the IDP process.

I am not happy with the way the City of Cape Town is driving densification in our area which has a dire lack of resources able to support this. They are only concerned about supporting developers and not about the residents and do not put any of the money they get from these additional rates back into the community. Table View is beginning to look like a slum with frequent water outages and sewage spills in the streets. The roads are also full of potholes and if they get repaired it is such a rubbish job.
They are also not interested in engaging or listening to the residents, their support is 100% skewed towards developers who put up horrible tenement-type buildings.
I enjoy the people in the community who support one another but this has nothing to do with the City of Cape Town.
There should be a moratorium on ANY building until the sewage works in the area is upgraded and ANY future plans for development should have services in place BEFORE development commences. I also want them to put more effort into decent buildings and green areas in our suburbs and not letting developers put up any old shit!

resources have not been well managed or maintained in past years, this has led to a deterioration in service delivery and increased crime
there is a strong community engagement and spirit

Potholes and burst pipes are abundant. They are attended to, but it takes days or weeks (in some cases months) to be resolved, and then not always fully.
Lots of rubbish in the streets, on street corners, in Randburg CBD.
traffic lights are out for weeks on end.
Disregard of the rules of the road, not only by taxis, but now also by general motorists, as there are no legal consequences.
Nature. We have a beautiful country.
