They should have the right to express their views and concerns on anything that does not align with their safety and harmony and freedom that a society should enjoy. Should the other person or group be offended by what is said, they may very well have a very distorted and morally corrupt world view. Using this as the deciding factor, in my opinion would be the slow decline and decay of the free world. Our free western, advanced cultures are at risk of being eradicated. Our world will look like an airport terminal with everyone wearing masks. Picture that and decide who you are supporting and what side you are on. |

People can easily lie about their feelings just to hurt someone innocent on purpose. The law should handle all cases equally and fairly. Also, the potential for manipulation and suppression of free speech, which are crucial to democracy and wellbeing, are endangered. Social Media Surveillance infringe on people’s privacy. What if someone post something hateful on your social media or forward something on your phone that you are not even aware of. |

Those in power are just people like you and me, and they have no right to overreach or intrude into our private lives. Such authority can easily be abused. Existing laws already protect society—these new Hate Crimes and Hate Speech regulations are unnecessary, dangerous, and act as a form of intimidation.
