Another law allowed to pass through this goverment.

This Goverment is destroying the country and they should be held accountable for all their crimes against humanity.

The Goverment talks about freedom, yet they themselves are the oppressor.
They can't even keep their promises to their people, and they never have.

This current rulling party is a disgrace to the beautiful land of South Africa.

Most of the people in this country want to stand together, but this Goverment keeps on sowing hatred and lies among the people.

I do not think our Parliament should create an opportunity to debate the concept of Apartheid. If it is an Act of Parliament, it can always create an opportunity for a right-wing group to make mischief. We should forget about the period of apartheid. We should also not create a concept that can be applied to other countries because it can cause excessive harm to them. It can also bring about new definitions of apartheid. I believe we must forget about a disgusting period in our history. The authors of the concept are long dead. If we retain the concept, it will give politicians unnecessary ammunition for debate.

This is a completely idiotic bill, who determines if something qualifies as apartheid? The only country ever to make apartheid laws were south africa, no other country in the world calls whatever they are doing apartheid. Only south african virtue signallers and idiots that weren't alive during apartheid are calling things that aren't defined as apartheid laws, apartheid.

I am writing to formally express my opposition to the proposed Bill in its current form. My objection is based on the significant risk that the legislation, as drafted, will facilitate politically motivated and selective enforcement, effectively weaponizing the law rather than advancing the cause of justice.

The Bill introduces broad and indeterminate concepts that are highly susceptible to subjective application. This is particularly concerning in the context of complex international conflicts, where the lack of precise legal definitions undermines the fundamental principles of legal certainty and the rule of law.

Of specific concern is the implicit intent to criminalize positions related to the Israel–Palestine situation. This matter remains a subject of intense international legal and political dispute, without a settled or universally accepted determination of apartheid. Embedding such contested interpretations into domestic criminal law risks the following:

• Chilling Protected Expression: It creates a deterrent for legitimate political expression, academic inquiry, and foreign policy discourse.

• Selective Justice: It creates a framework for the law to be applied based on prevailing political winds rather than objective legal standards.

• Misallocation of Resources: It risks diverting state focus and resources away from South Africa’s pressing constitutional obligations and urgent domestic challenges.

I urge the Committee to reconsider the necessity and the language of this Bill to ensure that South African law remains a tool for objective justice rather than a mechanism for ideological enforcement.

I do not support this Bill as it creates a high risk of politically motivated and selective enforcement that could weaponise the law rather than advance justice. The Bill introduces broad and indeterminate concepts that are likely to be applied subjectively, particularly in relation to complex international conflicts, thereby undermining legal certainty and the rule of law. Of particular concern is the implicit intent to criminalise positions related to the Israel–Palestine situation, which remains a matter of significant international legal and political dispute and is not subject to a settled or universally accepted determination of apartheid. Embedding such contested interpretations into domestic criminal law risks chilling legitimate political expression, academic debate, and foreign policy discourse, while diverting attention from South Africa’s pressing constitutional obligations and domestic challenges.

Ridiculous. It should rather be "you have the right to an opinion, but if you have the WRONG opinion that does not align with ours, we want to throw you in jail.
Does the country realise this Moosa-buffoon is taking our country backwards, creating divisions, while we should be learning to tolerate our differences in opinion.
He is no good for this country.
Ps... to my black brothers, people like Moosa, are playing on your emotions to keep you in the past, filled with anger, in order to validate his contribution to politics in SA. Dont be used by him. Rather have him fired, and replaced with someone who wants us to work together and move on.

Since Iran has given the ANC the money to take Yisrael to the ICJ, the supplier of the money has all the say and the puppets now has to dance. Therefore we harbour full scale terrorist in our country, because money makes you lose logic and common sense.
