These draft regulations are vague and poorly written and provide no clarity as to how the proposed system will be properly managed and the minister's role therein. NHI as a whole should be scrapped as these draft regulations prove that the NHI is unworkable and unmanageable, let alone how it can be vaiably funded.

This will allow there to be corruption and mismanagement like everything else in SA! Hard working taxpayers will have to fund this abomination that is called NHI! Our country can not afford this! It did not work in any other country, why would in work here???????

the ANC took the working government hospitals in South Africa and ruined it - there is barely anything left - mismanagement, no working equipment, no linen, people dying due to neglect. After more than 30 years it is in a dismal state. Now they want a NHI. This is a joke!!!!

I do not trust the ANC. They are corrupt, incompetent, inept and incapable of doing anything with integrity or any kind of responsibility. All they are interested in doing is stealing money from the people that, stupidly, vote for them.
