I fully support ALL of the objections, especially ALL the governmental control. It is an absolute recipe for continued state fraud, which has become THE hallmark of the SA government. The SHOCKING STATE of government hospitals DUE TO mismanagement and corruption DOES NOT inspire ANY confidence that the govt intends the NHI for anything other than an expansion of its VERY OWN coffers. Furthermore, opposition to the NHI is absolutely widespread and TOO MANY DO NOT it AT ALL! A democracy is GOVERNED BY THE WILL of THE PEOPLE, not just the minority that enthrone themselves above the country they are meant TO SERVE. |

People are waiting for days in queues to see a doctor and in some cases they die in those queues. There is no proper medication to give to patients, and the quality of care the patients are getting now is nothing to boast about. Like anything else the government has a finger in the pie, this will also fail dismally. |
