This will most likely be exploited by government to witch hunt white people as far back as they can go.

Really? If this traumatised you so much why would you wait 20 years? Taking chances here. But fits in with the 'you are a winner because you participated' and 'shame, your feelings got hurt and that is not okay' mentality going on these days

I agree that there should be no time limit for victims of sexual offenses to come forward - such perpetrators should not get away with offences just because of a time limit. Additionally it should be stated/included in this policy that the state must provide/has an obligation to provide capacity to deal with these cases in a sensitive manner I.e. they Must provide dedicated sexual offences courts with personnel trained in victim support & specialized prosecution teams/judges etc, otherwise our already over-full court dockets will be completely unable to cope & victims will face unreasonable stress due to delays in prosecution capacity.

Let's consider a child of, say, 5 years old is abused. I can easily conceive that this child may only begin to process and deal with what has happened in their 20's. Under current legislation this child would have until the age of 25 to bring charges. It might be that this victim doesn't even tell anybody until the age of 25 due to the nature of the crimes.

And so yes, I support the amendment.

Unfortunately I have to agree with this. Not because it is a good law but because it takes so long for anything to get prosecuted in this country it would take 20 years for a victim to get to court. If our politicians would stop stealing tax money and relief money perhaps the courts would be free themselves up to prosecute sexual offenses.

A sex crime committed should be followed up regardless of the time factor - these sickos get off because the crime is not followed up on - it is time for stricter, harsher and more stringent measures to be handed out to all sex offenders. Gloves off and make them pay.

They should bring the death penalty back.
They don't care if they go to prison that is a hotel to them. TV free food and sleep all day.

Often peer pressure, and family and just sheer fear being young alone and outnumber stops one from speaking out- With time and age comes wisdom, sometimes you only become brave to stand up for yourself with age.
