They are supposed to have our best interest in mind, for the people that they promise to service. The ANC have made such a mess of our country and did not look after the people they are supposed to serve. |

2026-02-14 09:32:18 +02:00 | Devlin | No I do not | Constitutionality | I strongly oppose the proposal to license and regulate religious organisations. This is a direct violation of our constitutional rights to freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Faith communities must have the autonomy to preach and practice according to their convictions, even when that message is unpopular or considered 'offensive' by others. Biblical truth is often uncomfortable, but that does not make it hate speech or a matter for state regulation. Furthermore, giving the state the power to decide who may or may not lead a religious institution blurs the lines between church and state. The government has neither the mandate nor the theological competence to define 'right' or 'wrong' in a spiritual context. This proposal places the government inside our churches where it does not belong. |

The government should rather consentrate on matters like service delivery, the state of the economy, work opportunities, foreign investment opportunities etc. |

2026-02-11 20:38:13 +02:00 | Sandra | No I do not | Constitutionality | Absolutely do not agree, every single individual has the freedom to choose their faith. The state or government is their to ensure that basic human rights and freedoms are protected NOT govern or spiritual liberty and freedom. |
