The CRL Rights Commission is again pushing for mechanisms to vet, license and regulate religious organisations and leaders. This threatens freedom of religion, including the spiritual autonomy of faith communities, and violates the Constitution.
We call on Parliament and the CRL Rights Commission to protect our constitutional right to religious freedom and reject all attempts to license or regulate faith.
