22 Million can feed so many people. It could fix potholes, it could fix damaged signage it could fix water infrastructures. We have had so many set back this 22 Million Rand flag is not necessary at all.

Another name for state Capture. So many other areas need support in SA. Housing, water systems, school upgrading to mention a few.

Education
Our children need water and proper toilets at all schools. Rather use the money for the most needy schools for water and sanitation provision

Education
Please use our tax money for something that benefits us. I chose education simply because that will give most bang for the back. Spending it om anything that really benefit south africans will be money better spent

Literally anything other than wasting R22m on a flag is a better idea.
It does nothing for the country or it's people, 98% of that money will find it's way into the hands of corrupt officials and their shelf companies.

The country doesn't need a new flag. We need jobs for all our people so they can feed their families. If there is 22mil rand to spend on a flag, surely the money can be put to better use to serve this countries people.

Social services
There is absolutely no purpose that the flag will serve other than to enrich some cadres. Artists and performers should benefit from those funds - they will make a real contribution to our social coherence and pride.

I am all for patriotism and pride for my country and flag. However how can I be proud of a country and government that would waste money on a massive flag instead of the welfare of its people? Will this flag house homeless? Will it feed the hungry and destitute? Will it better our education system? Will it support our overwhelmed medical system? No, it won't. It just presents a nice media coverage piece. Make me proud SA put our money where it will do the most good for South Africans.
