Purpose
The interim block will help in resetting the health sector in order to continue programs that have been effected by international aid being removed. South Africa needs to have a sovereign healthcare sector funded by local businesses as well as individuals or research institutions. We cannot continue to rely on foreign assistance for our local environment.

Government must stay out of the private health care system. The corruption and poor state of SOE’s is proof that the government is incapable of proper management and accountability, they just want find more avenues to loot the country so that they can fill their own pockets. History speaks for itself.

Purpose
This is merely implementation of the NHI by other means. Our private health services is of such a high standard because we managed to keep the state (mostly) out of it. See the sorry state of public health services to understand what state/collective intervention would deliver.

Private healthcare is already unaffordable even with medical aid, but it's a choice which is democratic. Public healthcare services are a disaster. Government must keep hands off private services because they ruin everything they touch. Their involvement will just bring about more corruption. Medical Aids must be involved with pricing determinations to ensure realistic decisions. Government knows nothing about anything - leave these things to the experts. Rather focus to get public healthcare up to standard.

Unrealistic ammendments. This allows for unethical cohersion of the way patients are treated which benifts the funders, rhetoric orators, and paper pushing (copy and paste) government administrators, not the patient. #People First

Scope of the exemption
if our perfectly servicable hospitals which the govt inherited in 1994 were not looted and destroyed, there would be no need for this as they were all government facilites. they must keep their hands off private medical services. the trough is hollowing out - enough is enough.

Scope of the exemption
The current government can not control or manage public entities because of corruption and looting, we can not allow them to influence the private sector.

Government has destroyed all public healthcare services due to incompetence and cadre deployment. We cannot allow the incompetent to erode the Private healthcare system.

The framework for collective determination of tariffs
The government has already proven that it cannot efficiently and effectively manage the available resources and budget it already has available to facilitate and improve public health-care. Whilst the NHI is a noble concept, in its current form it is merely a political tool to detract from its own rampant corruption & mismanagement.

NHI and anything related to it will hurt South Africa and benefit no-one at all, except those that can loot more as a result.

Requirements for agreements
As with all healthcare systems we move away from care disciplines being adequately renumerated. Only procedural disciplines and big money spinners like pathology and radiology are adequately renumerated. The unseen components and psychological aspect of the care disciplines are not recognised. Supermarket healthcare is expected despite the practitioner being the only individual who is personally responsible for the care required in a non medicinal and non procedural sense. Most of these care principles are not measurable. Medical aids will despite the good intentions of the practitioners continue the administrative overburdening of practices and continue to decline all aspects of care. This results in less renumeration and more unseen and unmeasured work. PMBs are conditions requiring more care on an urgent basis and should remain untouched because medical aids will refuse even the most basic care. This undermining of care is currently worse than ever before.

Doctors are negatively affected without them having a say in there service to patient cost. The funders will get the lionshate of the healthcare spend. This allows for unethical cohersion of the way patients are treated which benifts the funders not the patient.

Purpose
Private sector pays for medical aid to benefit from private medical services, I don`t feel the government has the right to dictate which hospitals / service providers we should use.

We are already being taxed severely, government services should be free of charge to all tax abiding citizens.

Purpose
The country do not have money to support the NHI and government cannot even currently run the provincial hospitals properly. This proposal will just give more opportunity to looting and corruption, whilst peoples lives are at stake. This agenda of the ANC to promote communism and to take peoples powers away, will NOT work.
