When a government has such unlimited authority to get into people’s private space, it usually spells trouble. Such carte blanche freedom is dangerous and cannot be allowed, as already there are too many corrupt personnel in these government security agencies!

It is a South African right to have privacy. That is the end of the story.

I have a right to privacy. What I choose to follow religiously of which i follow African spirituality is how I exercise my right of choice.

The 30 years since 1994 have shown conclusively that the ANC as government cannot run a country effectively - and recent statistics have shown this yet again.
Corruption, crime, incompetence have brought SA to the brink and that the powers vaguely set out in the bill will be used properly is unlikely given experience since 1994.
Billions spent on the commission that clearly sets out how state capture took place (and is still happening - see ESKOM, Transnet for example) yet has had almost no action on the part of the government makes one suspicious of what these powers are to be used for!

Object to government spying on private individuals . It is another move to control and remove my right to privacy.
