This training is aimed at teachers who teach ages 0 to 9, a very impressionable age.

The Governing Body Foundation is calling for the revision of the Gender-Responsive Pedagogy for Early Childhood Education, generally known as ECE Toolkit. This toolkit is for teachers and practitioners in early childhood development (ECD) to better approach gender issues with young children. According to the GBF, the Department of Basic of Education is determined to have this implemented in schools with proper consultation of relevant stakeholders. One of the issues with the toolkit, according to the GBF is that it represents only one view on gender and gender identity. CEO of the GBF, Dr Anthea Cereseto discussed the toolkit and some of the issues they have pointed out with eNCA. Full video here
