The constitution of the Republic is sick as no one except God has the power to judge a person not another human creature as their sins will not be forgiven including that which is clearly stated in 10 comandments. 8 therefore say no to killing willingly. that is not our own job

You may not kill....

Exodus 20

You can not play "God" by passing a bill and approve it doesn't make it right... You will be judged by God himself.
May God forgive you for approving this Bill Mr & Mrs Parliamentarians. (from now on it is horrible members !)

I am sorry and have sincere sympathy for the people (maybe myself one day) who suffer and it may be pure torture for them to live on and want to die, but this will be taking God's will into their own hands and it will be similar to either suicide or murder.

Just as well then Parliament can also approve a bill so people can kill each other and it will be legal. Why then did Parliament take away the death sentence also, because it is pure torture to be, survive and live in jail. Can anyone argue with this in mind?

As a pro-assisted suicide individual, I strongly believe that the right to decide how to die is a crucial one. This Bill is a step in the right direction.

I sincerely believe that I should have the RIGHT to refuse to be KEPT ALIVE ARTIFICIALLY, thus following a natural dying process when it is my time. Lyn Voigt

Please ensure that when the patient makes this decision that the next of kin/power of attorney holder cannot rule the patient is too ill to make a legal decision. This happened to me until I found a Living Will which was honoured.

A Living Will permits the signatory to refuse additional care to maintain life if there is no possibility of full recovery.

Seems to do exactly what the bill does but the significant difference is that when the Living Will was signed the patient was able to legally decide.

I firmly believe that the laws on plaintive care, and a person’s right to choose to die if suffering from a terminal or incurable disease need to be altered, to allow for freedom of choice on this vital issue.
