Medical "science" changes more often than the weather and we cannnot expose ourself to having other parties decide concerning our health to this extent. |

So they have no right to want to impose draconian laws to curtain our freedoms as individuals and as citizens of a democratic dispensation. Because of Who and such decisions, many people lost their lives from a curable influenza that was blown out of proportion because of Who and the Big Pharma it represents. I believe that every person should have the right to make informed decisions about their own health and medical treatment. I do not believe that decisions about my body, my health, or the health of my children should be made by an international organisation or by government without proper consideration of individual circumstances. My position is also based on personal experience. When my daughter received her 18-month vaccination, she experienced a severe reaction. It took weeks of medical investigations and testing before we could establish what was happening. She was subsequently diagnosed with Apraxia and, according to her doctors, is now considered disabled. This has had a significant impact on our family, both emotionally and financially. She requires ongoing speech and occupational therapy, yet there is very little meaningful financial assistance available to help families carry these long-term costs. The response we have received from some specialists has also been to consider medication, despite the fact that medication does not address the underlying condition itself. This experience has made me extremely cautious about medical decisions involving my children. It has also reinforced my belief that parents must be allowed to consider their child's individual medical history, consult appropriate medical professionals, ask questions and make informed decisions on their child's behalf. I want to remain in control of decisions regarding my own body and health, and I want to have the ability to make those decisions for my children until they are old enough and mature enough to make informed decisions for themselves. This is not about rejecting medical science or preventing anyone else from making their own healthcare choices. I |
