# The Department of Tourism has published the Tourism Amendment Bill and is asking for your comment in shaping this policy.

If you’re an Airbnb host you might be prevented from renting out your property for
as long as you like. If you are a guest/potential guest you might face increased
costs and limited choice.

**Important to note;**_ this is not a petition but is a legally protected policy-
shaping process mandated under the SA Constitution. Your comment is immediately 
sent as a _**unique email**_ to the designated government representative and must,
by law, be acknowledged and considered. Had this been a petition, all comments would
be seen as a single collective submission._
