# Taxation Laws Amendment Draft Bill 2019

The National Treasury has published an initial batch of the 2019 draft Taxation 
Laws Amendment Bill to cover specific provisions that require additional consultation
and is asking you to comment by no later than **Tuesday**, **25 June 2019**.

**Important to note;**_ this is not a petition but is a legally protected policy-
shaping process mandated under the SA Constitution. Your comment is immediately 
sent as a _**unique email**_ to the designated government representative and must,
by law, be acknowledged and considered. Had this been a petition, all comments would
be seen as a single collective submission._
